Au revoir 2025 👋🏽

Hard to believe it's almost Thanksgiving. Time for some reflection and tofurkey!

I continued exploring other mediums this year. I worked on some paper cutting, more mixed media, and am currently blocking in some oil paintings.

This is me dusting off some of my trusty old oil paint brushes:

Earlier this month, I hosted some pastel lessons in my art studio, one with Milan Franklin who is a classical oil painter.

I cleaned my studio(!)...an ongoing project... and realized just how many pastels I have! Luckily, I'm of the philosophy that there is no such thing as too many art supplies. I was also accepted into the Arizona Pastel Associations Fall Show this year.

And in October, I taught a mixed media class.

I'm ready for 2026. I have some travel planned and am excited to add more photo references to my collection.
